ParkPalet, an example of the rapidly developing “sharing economy” in the world adapted to the warehousing sector, won the Turkish leg of the Beta Pitch Global, which has been organized in our country for two years in cooperation with Workinton and Beta Haus.

Alp Çiçekdağı, Co-Founder of the company, who introduced ParkPalet to the jury members with 5-minute presentations and Q&A sessions together with 10 start-ups that made it to the Turkish finals, said, “Last week, we competed in China in the finals of the Create@Alibaba Cloud Start-Up Competition. Now we are going to Germany for the Beta Pitch Global finals. Logistics is one of the important sectors for the German economy. In addition, there are very serious commercial relations between Turkey and Germany. This increases our business model's chances of winning.”

Emphasizing that they entered an area with high expansion opportunities as the first player by bringing real estate, logistics and technology together, Çiçekdağı said, “Seeing that we are on the right track encourages us. Our software is our most valuable asset, and we continue to develop it. Currently, we have reached 55 warehouses. We will continue to progress in the Turkish market. In the next stages, we aim to expand to neighboring countries in the Balkans, the Middle East, the Gulf, and the Middle East.”

Beta Pitch is a startup competition organized simultaneously in many countries since 2009 by Beta Haus, which is based in Germany and owns co-working spaces in the global arena. The final of the competition, which is held simultaneously in 12 countries this year including Germany, Sweden, Bulgaria, Portugal, Egypt, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia, South Korea, Malaysia, and Turkey, will be held in Berlin on November 15, and the start-up that will go to Silicon Valley will be determined.
